Draft waiting in Google Workspace drafts
To: Maya Calder (maya@example.com) Subject: Harbor & Pine check-in and Coldwater intro
Hi Maya,
Good speaking this morning. I will make an email introduction to Marcus Fenn at Coldwater Endowment early next week so you two can discuss supply chain planning. Send over the updated Fall buying plan whenever it is ready for review.
Best, Hale
Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 5 steps each time it runs, using your connected CRM and email and calendar.
- 01
After each meeting, read the transcript and pull out the decisions, every commitment on both sides with an owner and due date, open questions, and risks.
- 02
Find the right contact and deal in my CRM and log a concise note with the summary and action items.
- 03
Turn my commitments into follow-up tasks with sensible due dates, and draft the follow-up emails I promised.
- 04
Never process the same meeting twice.
- 05
Give me a short recap with any stage change you'd suggest.
Adjust the automation in chat
Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.
- Only log notes for meetings with portfolio founders.
- Add commitments as tasks in Notion instead of Affinity.
- Draft follow-up emails only when I made a direct promise during the call.
Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.
What starts this automation
Runs after a meeting is transcribed.
Only useful reports
When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.
What it does on its own
Logs notes and tasks in your CRM on its own. Every follow-up waits for you to send. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.
This automation reads your CRM and email and calendar. Connect HubSpot, Attio, or Affinity for your CRM and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for your email and calendar to Fieldwork. It also uses your meeting notes, tasks when connected.

Questions about this automation.
- How do I set this up?
- Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, find Post-meeting CRM update in its job library, and choose Add. If your CRM or email account is not connected yet, the card offers to connect it first. It begins running after each recorded meeting is transcribed, and you can edit that schedule when adding it.
- What does it do on its own versus wait for me?
- It logs notes and creates follow-up tasks in your CRM without waiting for approval. It never sends emails or shares notes directly with attendees, so every drafted follow-up waits in your drafts folder for your review.
- Where do the results arrive?
- Results arrive as a message in your conversation with your assistant and can also be emailed to you. When a call has no commitments or updates to log, your assistant says so briefly or stays quiet.
- Can it process transcripts from Granola or Fireflies?
- Yes. Fieldwork uses its own meeting recordings and transcripts by default, but it can read transcripts from Granola or Fireflies whenever you connect them.

No training on your data
Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.
Access
Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.
Encryption and isolation
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.
Continuity
Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
