Investor inbox triage
Output
Hale, here is your morning triage digest. Three threads were marked for today's focus, two for action required, and four promotional messages were archived in Google Workspace. Context was cross-referenced with Affinity.
Today's focus
- Harbor & Pine board materials (Maya Calder): Maya sent the preliminary deck and cash forecast for the upcoming board review, needing review on inventory plans.
- Tidewater Health diligence (Rui Banks): Rui returned the signed term sheet and updated capitalization table, requiring immediate review before legal drafting.
- Bramble Family Office capital query (Edith Shore): Edith requested updated estimates on upcoming capital calls ahead of their Friday committee meeting.
Action required
- Quillwork Labs introduction (Avery Stone): Avery asked for an introduction to commercial healthcare partners, awaiting your consent.
- Coldwater Endowment update (Marcus Fenn): Marcus asked for a fund reporting confirmation, filed under limited partner communications.
Archived noise
Four items were archived automatically: two SaaS marketing updates, one venture newsletter, and one software receipt.
No emails were sent, and no replies were drafted.
Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 7 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.
- 01
As mail arrives, label each message into one of four groups: today's focus (deal materials such as term sheets, cap tables, closing documents and board materials, missed deadlines, active diligence), action required (replies I owe, approvals, introductions), scheduling, and delegated.
- 02
A term sheet or signed document is always today's focus.
- 03
Archive clear noise: newsletters, promotions, receipts.
- 04
Keep LP and fund-administration mail apart from deal flow, and portfolio asks apart from cold inbound.
- 05
Don't relabel a thread you've already labeled.
- 06
Give me a short digest of today's focus, with one line on why each is urgent.
- 07
Where my mailbox can't be labeled from here, list what you would file and where instead.
Adjust the automation in chat
Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.
- Move all limited partner questions into action required instead of today's focus.
- Do not archive newsletters from specific venture industry senders.
- Add an afternoon digest for scheduling requests that arrive after midday.
Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.
What starts this automation
Runs as new mail arrives in your inbox. It reads the mailbox you choose when you add it.
Only useful reports
When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.
What it does on its own
Labels and archives mail on its own. Drafts and sends no replies. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.
This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect. It also uses your CRM when connected.

Questions about this automation.
- How do I set this up?
- Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, locate Investor inbox triage in the job library, and choose Add. If your email in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is not connected yet, the card offers to connect it first. It starts monitoring as new mail arrives, which you can adjust when adding it.
- What does it do on its own, and what waits for me?
- It applies labels and archives obvious clutter directly inside your mailbox. It never sends messages, replies to anyone, deletes emails, or edits your calendar, leaving every response for you to handle.
- Where do my focus digests arrive?
- Results appear as a message in your conversation with your assistant and can also be sent to your email. When no priority messages arrive, it stays quiet or notes that everything is clear.
- How does it distinguish portfolio companies from cold pitches?
- It matches inbound senders against company records and contact lists in Affinity or your connected CRM. Cold pitches stay apart from active portfolio asks and limited partner correspondence so your focus list remains clean.

No training on your data
Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.
Access
Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.
Encryption and isolation
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.
Continuity
Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
