Output

Four threads need your response this morning across Google Workspace and Slack. The oldest item is a hiring note from Juno Pell that has been open since Thursday.

Nothing was sent, and no messages were marked as read.

  • Juno Pell on store manager search (Google Workspace, Sep 10) Juno is waiting for your interview feedback on Dara Finch before moving forward with reference calls for the Portland store manager position.

  • Hale Morrow on board materials (Google Workspace, Sep 11) Hale asked if you have Harbor & Pine August revenue numbers ready to share prior to the upcoming board review.

  • Lena Vale on Mossbank purchase order (Slack #buying, Sep 11) Lena asked you to confirm the final color split on the Alder Wool Throw order before she approves supplier bill MT-201 with Ada Fern.

  • Bea Calder on household utilities (Google Workspace, Sep 12) Bea sent the shared internet and streaming statement for September and asked for your half of the payment.

Threads skipped include shipping notices, newsletter updates, and four Slack mentions where Sol Varga or Lena Vale already responded.

Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 4 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.

  1. 01

Each weekday morning, look back over the last week of my email and team chat and find only the threads that genuinely need a reply from me: someone is waiting on me, a question is directed at me, or I left a commitment open.

  2. 02

Skip FYIs, newsletters, automated notifications, and threads where I replied last or someone else owns the next step.

  3. 03

List them in one place, oldest-waiting or most time-sensitive first, each with a one-line reason and a link.

  4. 04

If nothing needs me, stay quiet.

Adjust the automation in chat

Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.

  • Only include messages from the past three days.
  • Exclude direct messages from family members.
  • Flag threads from board members and key suppliers first.

Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.

Adjustable schedule

Runs every weekday at 08:00 by default. Pick another time when you add it, or ask in chat for a custom schedule.

Only useful reports

When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.

What it does on its own

Finds threads waiting on you and reports them. Changes nothing and sends no replies. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.

This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect. It also uses your team chat when connected.

Questions about this automation.

How do I set this up?
Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, locate this automation in the job library, and select Add. If Google Workspace or Slack is not connected yet, the card prompts you to connect them. It begins running every weekday at 8:00 AM, but you can adjust that schedule when you add it.
Does it send replies or clear my notifications?
No, it only reviews your inbox and chat to report open threads. It never sends or posts a message, marks items as read, deletes anything, or alters your calendar.
Where do the results arrive?
A summary arrives as a message in your conversation with your assistant, and you can choose to have it emailed to you as well. If no messages are waiting on your reply, it stays quiet or sends a brief note.
Can I run this check during the day instead of waiting for the morning run?
Yes, you can ask your assistant in chat to look for unanswered messages at any time. It will inspect your recent Google Workspace and Slack threads on demand and provide an updated list.

Security first

  • ISO 42001ISO/IEC 42001AIMS in operation
  • App Defense AllianceCASA Tier 2Assessment passed

  • No training on your data

Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.

  • Access

Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.

  • Encryption and isolation

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.

  • Continuity

Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
