End-of-day sweep
Output
Four items need your attention before you log off Harbor & Pine for the evening, checked across Google Workspace and Slack.
Approvals where you are the blocker
- Store manager candidate: Juno Pell requested your sign-off in Slack to invite Dara Finch for the final round. Juno needs confirmation by 5:00 PM today to schedule Lena Vale and Ezra Holt for tomorrow.
- Mossbank Textiles swatch: Lena Vale shared the Ember Stripe swatch in #buying and needs your color approval before placing the replenishment order for the Alder Wool Throw.
Replies owed to people waiting
- Driftline Supply Co wholesale terms: Cal Brook emailed through Gmail at 2:15 PM regarding Noor Hale's request for 60-day terms on the $18,400 proposal. Cal is waiting on your decision before replying to Noor.
Commitments due tonight or tomorrow morning
- Q4 goals document: Sol Varga reminded you in Slack that your written notes on the quarterly targets must be added to the shared doc before the Tuesday 9:00 AM check-in.
No messages were sent, and no calendar items were changed. Everything remains for your direct review.
Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 4 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.
- 01
Late each weekday, check my email and team chat for what can't wait until tomorrow, in three groups: approvals or decisions where I'm the blocker, replies I owe someone actively waiting on me, and commitments due today or first thing tomorrow.
- 02
Keep the bar high: skip FYIs, newsletters and anything that can wait.
- 03
Link each item to its message.
- 04
If nothing needs me, stay quiet.
Adjust the automation in chat
Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.
- Move the sweep time to 5:00 PM on Fridays.
- Only flag unread Slack messages from leadership team members.
- Include open tasks assigned to me in Linear due by tomorrow morning.
Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.
Adjustable schedule
Runs every weekday at 16:30 by default. Pick another time when you add it, or ask in chat for a custom schedule.
Only useful reports
When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.
What it does on its own
Reads messages and flags urgent items on its own. Changes nothing and sends no replies. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.
This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect. It also uses your team chat, tasks when connected.

Questions about this automation.
- How do I set this up?
- Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, find End-of-day sweep in the job library, and choose Add. The card will prompt you to connect your email, calendar, and team chat if they are not linked yet. It starts on the suggested weekday 4:30 PM schedule, which you can adjust when adding it.
- What does it do on its own versus what waits for me?
- It reads your messages and flags urgent blockers, owed responses, and tight deadlines on its own. It never sends replies, posts to channels, or edits your calendar. All responses and decisions wait for you to handle directly.
- Where do the results arrive?
- Your assistant posts the list directly in your conversation, and it can also send the report to your email. When no items need your attention before tomorrow, it stays quiet.
- Can I run the sweep earlier if I sign off early?
- Yes, you can ask your assistant in chat to run the sweep whenever you are ready to wrap up. It will inspect your inbox and chat immediately and report what needs handling.

No training on your data
Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.
Access
Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.
Encryption and isolation
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.
Continuity
Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
