Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 3 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.
- 01
At the end of each month, find the bills I split with others (utilities, internet, shared subscriptions), matched by the senders I name; ask me which ones and who shares each the first time.
- 02
From each email and its attached statement, take the amount and due date, and check with me if the amount isn't clear.
- 03
Prepare a payment request link with each person's share and a clear note naming the bill, month and year, and link back to the bill.
Adjust the automation in chat
Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.
- Split internet three ways instead of half.
- Only look for bills from our internet provider and streaming services.
- Send the split summary on the last day of the month at 7:00 AM.
Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.
Adjustable schedule
Runs on the 28th of every month at 09:00 by default. Pick another time when you add it, or ask in chat for a custom schedule.
Only useful reports
When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.
What it does on its own
Calculates shares and prepares payment links on its own. Changes nothing and moves no money. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.
This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect.

Questions about this automation.
- How do I set this up?
- Go to the Agents page in Fieldwork, locate Shared bill splits in the job library, and click Add. You can link Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 if it is not connected yet, and keep or adjust the default monthly schedule.
- Does it send payment requests or transfer funds on its own?
- It only checks your incoming billing emails, calculates the owed amounts, and prepares payment links for you. It never moves money, drafts or sends messages to other people, or alters your accounts.
- Where do the results arrive?
- Your split summary and prepared links arrive directly in your Fieldwork conversation, and can be sent to your email as well. If no matching bills arrived during the billing window, it posts a brief note.
- How do I add a new recurring bill or change who shares it?
- Tell your assistant in chat which sender to watch for and how to divide the balance. Future monthly runs will automatically include the new statement and apply your updated split rules.

No training on your data
Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.
Access
Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.
Encryption and isolation
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.
Continuity
Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
