Output

Your family document has been updated with three items from recent school emails. There is one calendar clash next week to resolve.

Calendar clashes and missing items

  • Clash on Monday, September 21, 9:00 AM: Rowan has an Alderbrook Owls soccer team photo session at the school field, conflicting with your Harbor & Pine weekly buying review.
  • Missing on calendar: Juniper's third-grade field trip to the community garden on Friday, September 25, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. No entry exists on your calendar yet.

Document updates by child

Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 4 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.

  1. 01

Each morning, read new mail from school and family senders (teachers, the front office, coaches, clubs, class newsletters, other parents), including schedules that arrive as attachments.

  2. 02

Keep one family doc, organized per child: upcoming events with date, time, place and child; the need-to-knows such as forms, payments, RSVPs and things to bring; and what's due, newest first with the source noted.

  3. 03

Compare it with my calendar and list what's missing, changed or cancelled there, and any clashes.

  4. 04

Ask me which senders count the first time.

Adjust the automation in chat

Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.

  • Only track emails from Alderbrook School and soccer coaches.
  • Highlight items that require a paper form or payment.
  • Add Sam to the morning update message.

Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.

Adjustable schedule

Runs every day at 07:00 by default. Pick another time when you add it, or ask in chat for a custom schedule.

Only useful reports

When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.

What it does on its own

Updates your family document on its own. Lists calendar clashes for you to change. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.

This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect. It also uses your files when connected.

Questions about this automation.

How do I set this up?
Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, locate Family events in the job library, and click Add. If Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is not connected yet, the setup card prompts you to link your account, and it defaults to running daily at 7:00 AM.
What does it handle automatically and what waits for me?
It updates your central family document on its own after reading new messages. It never edits your calendar, sends replies, or submits forms, so rescheduling conflicting meetings remains for you to handle.
Where do my updates arrive?
Summaries appear as a morning message in your chat conversation with your assistant and can also be delivered to your inbox. When no new school emails or schedule conflicts are found, it simply stays quiet.
How does it know which school and club emails to monitor?
On its first run, your assistant asks you to confirm key senders such as teachers, coaches, and school administrative addresses. You can also adjust or expand this list anytime by asking in chat.

  • No training on your data

Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.

  • Access

Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.

  • Encryption and isolation

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.

Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
