Output
Nell, I reviewed the transcript from the wholesale discovery call with Bram Ives at Kestrel & Finch on September 17, 2026, and updated the Harbor & Pine Wholesale Messaging document in Google Workspace. Nothing was changed in HubSpot.
Here are the key customer phrases and quotes extracted from the call:
Jobs to be done
- Stock durable apparel that transitions from trail to town: "We need pieces our weekend hikers can wear straight into the cafe without looking like they brought camping gear to lunch."
Pains and objections
- High minimum orders from legacy outdoor brands: "The established labels want us to commit to six months of inventory upfront, which ties up all our working capital."
- Fabric durability on knitwear: "Most merino sweaters pill after three washes, so our buyers hesitate on knit tops."
Resonating messages
- Local Pacific Northwest design and Pacific wool sourcing resonated strongly: "Knowing you design in Portland and test in the Cascades gives our staff a real story to tell on the sales floor."
Product feedback (filed separately)
- Bram asked if the Cascade Merino Crew could be offered in a lighter summer weight for early spring deliveries.
All entries were attributed to Bram Ives at Kestrel & Finch, dated September 17, 2026, and added to the independent retail section of your messaging library.
Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 4 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.
- 01
After each customer or prospect call, first decide whether it's worth mining, and skip internal and logistics calls.
- 02
Pull the voice of the customer: the jobs they're trying to get done, their pains, objections, the exact words they use for the problem, which of my messages landed, and short verbatim quotes.
- 03
Fold it into a living messaging doc for their segment, strengthening recurring themes rather than duplicating.
- 04
Keep messaging separate from product feedback, attribute every insight to who, company and date, and never invent or paraphrase a quote.
Adjust the automation in chat
Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.
- Only pull quotes from calls with retail store owners.
- Save separate messaging documents for wholesale accounts and direct consumers.
- Skip calls shorter than fifteen minutes.
Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.
What starts this automation
Runs after a meeting is transcribed.
Only useful reports
When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.
What it does on its own
Updates your messaging documents with verbatim customer quotes. Changes nothing in your CRM. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.
This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect. It also uses your CRM, meeting notes when connected.

Questions about this automation.
- How do I set this up?
- Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, locate this automation in the job library, and click Add. The card prompts you to link Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, along with your meeting notes or CRM tool if they are not already connected. It is set to run automatically after each recorded meeting is transcribed.
- What does this automation do on its own versus what is left for me?
- It reviews transcripts from customer calls and appends exact quotes and pain points to your chosen messaging document. It never edits your records in HubSpot, sends messages, or shares files with anyone outside your workspace. You decide how and when to apply those quotes to your marketing copy.
- Where do the updates arrive?
- Fieldwork posts a summary of extracted quotes directly in your conversation with your assistant and can send a copy to your email. If an internal or logistics call contains no relevant customer language, your assistant remains quiet.
- Which meeting tools does it support to capture customer quotes?
- The automation works directly with Fieldwork meeting recordings and transcripts, and it also reads notes from Granola or Fireflies when connected. It evaluates external customer and prospect conversations while ignoring internal team check-ins.

No training on your data
Neither we nor our model providers train on your data. Inference runs with zero retention wherever the provider supports it.
Access
Agents only see what the person asking can see. Conversations, files, apps and connections stay private until shared, and admins have no way into conversations.
Encryption and isolation
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's code runs in its own microVM, and secrets reach models by name only.
Continuity
Continuous backups, replicated to a second region. Data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days of a contract's end.
