Calendar health check

Output

Pia, here is the calendar health check for Maya Calder across Harbor & Pine events through Wednesday, September 16. Two schedule conflicts and one missing video link need attention.

Immediate conflicts

  • Double booking on Monday, September 14: The Monday buying review with Lena Vale (10:00 AM to 10:45 AM) overlaps with an internal sync requested by Sol Varga on Q4 goals (10:30 AM to 11:00 AM). Sol accepted both invitations in Google Workspace without notes.
  • Missing link on Tuesday, September 15: Board touchpoint with Hale Morrow at 2:00 PM has no dial-in or meeting link attached. Hale emailed via Google Workspace last Friday asking to meet remotely.
  • Zero transit time on Wednesday, September 16: Maya has an on-site walkthrough at Portland Warehouse with Owen Reed ending at 1:30 PM, followed immediately at 1:30 PM by a virtual wholesale review with Cal Brook. Slack messages in #warehouse show the tour runs the full hour.

Upcoming unaccepted invites

  • Wednesday, September 16 at 3:00 PM: Candidate interview with Dara Finch for the Portland store manager role. Lena Vale has not yet accepted the invitation.

Nothing has been rescheduled or modified on the calendar.

Automation steps. Your assistant follows these 3 steps each time it runs, using your connected email and calendar.

  1. 01

Each weekday morning, sweep the calendar for the next few working days and flag what will cause trouble: unaccepted invitations, double bookings, missing rooms or dial-ins, and back-to-back meetings with no travel time.

  2. 02

Pull in context from email, chat and tasks where it explains an event.

  3. 03

    Flag real problems, not noise.

Adjust the automation in chat

Tell your assistant what to do differently and it sets up that version for you.

  • Only check the schedule for Maya Calder and ignore shared calendars.
  • Flag travel buffers if two back-to-back meetings take place at different physical locations.
  • Check five working days ahead instead of three.

Results arrive as a message from your assistant. Each run posts to your conversation with your assistant, and can email you too. The automation keeps a log in your knowledge base and reads it before each run to see what has changed.

Adjustable schedule

Runs every weekday at 07:30 by default. Pick another time when you add it, or ask in chat for a custom schedule.

Only useful reports

When nothing needs attention, the run says so in a line or stays quiet. When there are findings, you get them with a link to the full run.

What it does on its own

Audits upcoming schedules and flags issues. Never edits or moves meetings on your calendar. An automated run has no tool that sends, posts, shares, or deletes anything.

This automation reads your email and calendar. Connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Fieldwork. The automation uses whichever you connect. It also uses your team chat, tasks when connected.

Questions about this automation.

How do I set up Calendar health check?
Open your assistant on the Agents page in Fieldwork, find this automation in the job library, and select Add. If Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is not connected yet, the setup card prompts you to link your account first. It starts running every weekday at 7:30 AM, or at another time you choose during setup.
Does this automation move or decline meetings on its own?
No, it only reviews your schedule and points out conflicts, missing details, or travel issues. It never updates events, cancels appointments, sends messages, or alters your calendar in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, leaving all adjustments to you.
Where do the schedule audit results appear?
Your assistant posts the briefing as a message in your Fieldwork chat, and can send it to your inbox as an email. If your schedule looks clean and has no issues, it either drops a short confirmation or stays silent.
Can I run this check on demand before 7:30 AM?
Yes, you can ask your assistant in chat to audit your calendar at any moment. While the standard run happens every weekday at 7:30 AM, an ad hoc check will review your upcoming days immediately.
